Terms of Service

Effective date: March 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the "Todo List" service (the "Service"), available at todo.keepware.ru and through the mobile application.

1. General provisions

1. The Service provides collaborative task list management.
2. By registering, the user confirms acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
3. The Service is provided "as is". The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

2. Service description

The "Todo List" Service offers the following features:

• Creating and managing task lists
• Collaboration — inviting members to a list by password
• Member roles: administrator and member
• Public and private tasks
• Marking tasks as completed with date and assignee tracking
• Task color personalization

3. Registration and account

1. The Service requires registration with email, username, and password.
2. The user agrees to provide a valid email address and not to use someone else's data.
3. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials secure.
4. A user may have only one account.

4. User rights and obligations

The user has the right to:

• Create task lists and invite other users
• Create, edit, and delete their tasks
• Modify their personal data (email, password)
• Delete their account at any time

The user agrees:

• Not to use the Service for spam, illegal content, or any other unlawful purposes
• Not to attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or data
• Not to place excessive load on the Service (automated requests, scraping, etc.)

5. Shared lists

1. The list creator is its administrator.
2. The administrator may delete the entire list (including all tasks and members).
3. A member may leave a list; their private tasks within that list are then deleted.
4. Public tasks are visible to all list members. Private tasks are visible only to their creator.
5. Joining a list requires the list name and password.

6. Limitation of liability

1. The Operator is not liable for Service interruptions caused by technical issues, updates, or third-party actions.
2. The Operator is not liable for the content of tasks created by users.
3. The Operator is not liable for data loss caused by user actions (account deletion, list deletion, etc.).

7. Account suspension and deletion

1. The Operator may suspend or delete a user's account in case of breach of these Terms.
2. The user may delete their account through the application. Deletion is irreversible.

8. Intellectual property

The Service source code is distributed under the MIT license. User-generated content (tasks, lists) belongs to the users.

9. Changes to these Terms

The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms. The current version is always available at todo.keepware.ru/terms/en. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new version.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Russian law.
